Mickey Micklos is a Senior Colorist with over a decade of experience, recently serving as Head of Color for North America at Chimney/Edisen, where he also contributed as a creative director on numerous high-profile projects. His work goes beyond the technical—Mickey approaches color as a storytelling tool, using it to shape emotion, enhance narratives, and ensure every frame leaves a lasting impression.
With a cinematic sensibility that elevates the essence of the photography, Mickey has collaborated with brands like Cointreau, Lego, Mastercard, Intel, Nike, Formula 1, Revlon, and Clinique. His background spans 16 years in post-production, including roles as a colorist, AI creative director, volumetric filmmaker, VR developer, and editor. In 2017, he founded a post facility in NYC specializing in finishing for TV, film, and immersive VR content.
Today, Mickey splits his time between creative directing and color grading national ad campaigns. His rare combination of technical expertise and creative vision allows him to deliver not just stunning visuals, but a seamless, white-glove client experience. Ask anyone who’s worked with him—they’ll tell you Mickey is much more than just a colorist.
Though he hasn’t yet achieved his childhood dream of becoming a Disney Imagineer, his career is fueled by the same obsession: creative storytelling and world-building that captivates and inspires.
