Mickey Micklos is a Creative Director and Visual Storyteller with over 15 years of experience crafting campaigns that connect, perform, and refuse to be ignored. His work spans concept development, visual leadership, and high-end post-production—bringing together striking imagery, emotional depth, and cultural relevance to create branded content that truly stands out.
Mickey most recently served as Head of Color for North America at Chimney/Edisen, where he also contributed as a Creative Director on numerous high-profile campaigns. His background in post gives him a rare edge: a deep understanding of how visual storytelling unfolds from first concept through the final frame. Whether leading a campaign or shaping its finish, Mickey elevates creative with precision, artistry, and intention.
He’s collaborated with brands like Cointreau, LEGO, Mastercard, Intel, Nike, Formula 1, Revlon, and Clinique, helping bring their stories to life through world-class visuals. His 16-year background in post includes roles as a Senior Colorist, AI creative director, volumetric filmmaker, VR developer, and editor. In 2017, he founded a post facility in NYC focused on finishing for TV, film, and immersive VR content.
Today, Mickey splits his time between creative directing and color grading national ad campaigns. His blend of technical expertise and creative leadership delivers not just visually stunning results, but a seamless, white-glove client experience. Ask anyone who’s worked with him—they’ll tell you: Mickey is more than a colorist—he’s a partner in making the work unforgettable.
And while he hasn’t (yet) achieved his childhood dream of becoming a Disney Imagineer, his career is still driven by that same obsession: building stories, worlds, and images that captivate and inspire.
